Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Go Green Heating’s internal QuickBooks integration accesses, uses, protects, and retains information obtained through QuickBooks Online. The integration is operated solely for Go Green Heating’s internal business purposes and is not offered to the public.

The integration may retrieve company information, accounting records, financial reports, accounts, vendors, purchases, bills, payments, budgets, employee records, time activities, and other QuickBooks data specifically authorized through Intuit’s OAuth process. Payroll or other restricted data will be accessed only if separately authorized and permitted by Intuit.

The information is used exclusively for internal accounting administration, budgeting, financial reporting, expense analysis, vendor management, operational planning, and related business functions. QuickBooks data is not sold, rented, used for advertising, or disclosed to unrelated third parties. Information may be disclosed only when required by law, necessary to protect the company’s legitimate interests, or provided to an authorized service provider supporting company operations under appropriate confidentiality obligations.

The integration uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These safeguards include restricted access, protected credentials, secure OAuth authorization, local secret storage, and separation of confidential information from source code. No electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

QuickBooks information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for legitimate internal business, accounting, compliance, and operational purposes. Locally stored tokens, snapshots, and retrieved information may be deleted when no longer required. Access to QuickBooks can be revoked through the integration’s disconnect function or through the connected QuickBooks account.
